Skiathos is a small island in the Aegean Sea. This is the west Sporades group of islands north of the island. Skiathos is a sunbather's paradise, more than 60 beaches around the coastline. Most of the island is surrounded by forest and farmland. Skopelos Island can be seen from Skiathos island of Euboea and the more distant and Scyros conditions are clearly visible. Skiathos is a quiet island, not as popular tourist and there are still a number of Greek culture beyond the typical package holiday.
